Hey there and thank you for visiting my page! My name is Rebecca and I joined the Ironistic team as a Marketing Assistant in January 2019. I graduated from Queens University of Charlotte in 2015 with a BA in Business Administration, and since then I have fallen in love with marketing and digital advertising.
After I graduated in 2015, I served as an AmeriCorps VISTA for one year, working with adults and teens with disabilities. Not only did I gain experience teaching and working with adults with disabilities, I also gained essential skills in digital communications and project management, creating content for the Madison House Autism Foundation blog and Facebook page. Since then, I’ve worked as a Legislative Editor for the Maryland Department of Legislative Services, as well as a Marketing Assistant for a small agency in Southern Maryland.
I’ve always had a passion for serving others, which is another reason why I fell in love with marketing and digital advertising—by better serving my clients, I know I am making a difference in someone’s life.
Fun Fact: From June-August 2017, I was a runner with the Ulman Cancer Fund’s 4K for Cancer—a 49 day, 4,000+ mile run from San Francisco, CA to Baltimore, MD to raise funds and spread awareness for young adults impacted by cancer. It was by far one of the craziest experiences of my life! I’m addicted to traveling and staying active, so this was definitely a bucket list item.
