One of the things that has served me well throughout my life – and certainly my Navy career – has been my ability to write. I’ve written extensively during my various military assignments from producing analytic pieces, drafting executive correspondence for leadership, writing my Master’s thesis, and everything in between. Fortunately, I love to write – and edit, for that matter. I get excited about taking a jumbled piece of material and crafting it into something cohesive and interesting. (My children don’t always appreciate it!) Towards the end of my Navy career, I combined my love of writing with my passion for running when I wrote a regular Military Running Scene column for the Washington Running Report from 2010-2013.
I currently work with several Ironistic digital strategists and project managers to support a wide range of clients by writing and editing blogs, white papers, social media posts, and articles. I enjoy the diversity of the assignments I work on because I learn something new every time – and I firmly believe you can never stop learning.
