Beers, Beards, & Brats

Beards, Beers & Brats is a festival celebrating – you, guessed it – beards, beers, and brats. Held in Mt. Airy, Maryland on October 14th, the Beards, Beers & Brats Festival is pure fun and revelry, offering craft beer tastings (plus wine and ciders), 18 awesome contests for facial-hair achievements, and great entertainment.

Ironistic is a proud sponsor of this yearly event, and we were proud to assist them in designing a web presence to match the spirit of their festival. Beards, Beers & Brats not only needed an updated design, but they also needed a site that was easier to manage, made uploading content a breeze, and captured customer information. The site also needed to encourage ticket sales, vendor sign-ups, and sponsors. Ironistic knew just what to do.

We built them a fresh website that clearly advertised the fun. The homepage has an attractive, modern layout that encapsulates the festival, inviting users to purchase tickets and sign up for updates, highlighting all the great contests and entertainment, and showcasing photos from past events. Vendors and sponsors are featured prominently as well with calls-to-action for both, plus we also included a handy ticket tier module that updates info as deadline dates pass. We implemented a WordPress content management system (CMS), so that the site admins at Beards, Beers & Brats truly have a functional platform where they can easily update and edit content.

Form + function. That makes a great site – an Ironistic site – well-rounded like a good brew. As Arnold Schwarzenegger once wisely articulated, “Milk is for babies. When you grow up, you have to drink beer.” So if you must, you might as well have a rollicking good time while doing it. Check out the Beards, Beers & Brats Festival this October. We’ll see you there.
