The Content Specialists at Ironistic work closely with the account services team to develop content strategies and write content on behalf of our clients. As a Content Specialist, you will define and implement content strategies that align with our client’s digital marketing and overall business goals. You will also collaborate with SEO and Social Media specialists to guide overarching content direction.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ years of work experience in content marketing and strategy
- An understanding of grammar rules and how to construct clear sentences
- Mindfulness when it comes to content flow, readability, and sentence variety
- An understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) best practices
- An understanding of how to market content and familiarity with industry trends
- The ability to lead and execute writing projects
- Proven ability in handling concurrent projects with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
- BS/BA degree preferred
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Writing and editing content for the following:
- Website landing pages
- Articles & blogs
- Social media
- SMS
- Mobile app notifications
- Press releases and communications with journalists, producers, and members of the media
- Scripts for video and audio productions
- Collaborating with clients to define their content needs, set quantifiable goals, and develop strategies to achieve them
- Conducting research based on topics and industry
- Developing editorial calendars with topic ideation and keyword research
- Completing writing projects, meeting deadlines, and following content requirements in terms of style and project specifications
- Sourcing and editing photos to ensure content is visually appealing
- Helping create style guides or suggesting changes to ensure content is clear and consistent, or following established brand and style guidelines
- Assist with proofreading or editing other content
- Contributing to content-related SOPs and processes
- Assistance with proposal writing and copy editing
- Communication with team and management on project development, timelines, and results; and
- Work closely with the other team members to meet client goals
- Other job duties as assigned by your supervisor as needed
