Ironistic is an awesome blend of a traditional web development shop as well as a digital marketing agency, and we’re looking for a Business Development Consultant.
This position will play an essential role in our sales and internal marketing operations, and a detail-oriented individual will be an integral part of our team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Five+ years in various client-facing roles
- Demonstrated ability in business-to-business (B2B) sales
- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
- Familiarity with the industry including equipment, logistics, website design/development, and digital marketing strategies
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
- Ability and willingness to travel for meetings with prospective and existing clients
- Successful work experience as a Digital Strategist or similar position
- Strong working knowledge of marketing and sales industry, including digital tools and techniques
- Significant experience with SEO/SEM campaigns
- Problem-solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutions
- Experience with the use of a sales CRM
- Self-starter who requires little supervision and direction
Responsibilities:
- Build strong, long-lasting relationships with prospective and new clientele
- Arrange meetings with prospective clients
- Contact potential clients to establish a business relationship and meet them
- Develop new sales areas and improve sales through various methods
- Research the latest in the business industry and create new opportunities to expand business
- Collaborate with sales and marketing team to ensure requirements are met, such as sales numbers and profit goals
- Collaborate with marketing specialists and project managers to brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns
- Strong understanding of company products and services, as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive
- Produce professionally written proposals and communications for clientele and internal use
- Review specifications and contract documentation for each project
- Assist in outbound and inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, etc).
