Interesting TED Talk on the Future of Search
The Last Good Book I Read
I read books fairly regularly. I use it as a way to relax before going to sleep, but more often than not I get caught up in the story and before I know it, it’s 2a.m.! The last good book I read was,“Gone Girl” by Gillian Flynn. It tells the story of a married couple in New York City, Nick and Amanda who have fallen on hard times. Due to the decline of print journalism, both end up losing their jobs around the same time and move to Missouri to care for Nick’s ailing mother. On the day of their 5th wedding anniversary, Amy disappears. The story is told from Nick’s point of view and from Amy’s diary entries as the search for her progresses. I had a hard time putting this book down and finished it in a few short days. It’s one of the few books, where the ending made me say, “huh……” and kept me thinking about it for hours afterwards. I highly recommend it!
