I am Lori Malcolm, part-time content writer for Ironistic. A native to Maryland, I’ve spent over two decades as a sales and marketing professional in software development. My career began in a DOS environment where I witnessed the painstaking evolution of Windows. The digital age of technology certainly gave me opportunities well beyond my rural home in western MD. Giving back what I learned, I created a hands-on class for unemployed local residents to sharpen their technology skills to re-enter the workforce with confidence. Watching these student excel in technology has been one of my greatest personal achievements.
As a Maryland Real Estate Agent, I love helping first time home buyers realize the dream of owning a home and sharing my knowledge to help others achieve homeownership. Real estate is my fickle side-kick that never ceases to amaze and amuse me.
With an affinity for wanderlust, my husband and I uprooted our lives in MD and now spend our free time traveling about the country. Anchored in Colorado, near our son in Boulder, we enjoy the beauty of the Rocky Mountains and all the outdoor activities that go with it.
As a writer for Ironistic, I relish the fact that I learn something new everyday from my coworkers and clients. I am proud to be part of an elite group of skilled individuals that work collectively for a common goal, our customer’s satisfaction.
