For more than 35 years, Raxco Software has developed award-winning defragmentation solutions and performance utilities that improve hard drive and server performance, simplify system administration, and help customers work more efficiently – at home and at the office. Overhauling the Raxco website proved challenging for several reasons. First and foremost, Raxco’s target audiences are truly distinct and range from home users to businesses to an extensive partner network. In order to mitigate this challenge, Ironistic created a strong user interface that prompts the user to quickly identify themselves and essentially configure the website for their specific needs. Check it out. For each target audience, we focus on specific needs that they face and Call To Action elements most likely to impact them.
Another development task was the seamless integration with several 3rd party systems. The new site integrates with HubSpot, Salesforce, a custom ecommerce site, as well as a custom partner portal! Each of these required custom work from both our frontend and backend web developers in order to present a seamless user experience.
Finally, we constructed the Raxco website on the latest Drupal content management system. Drupal can be an excellent CMS with a wide variety of modules to plug into the website; however, Raxco required several custom modules for their user interface, documentation library, download manager, and more. We worked closely with the Raxco staff and marketing team to ensure the successful roll-out of the website during the Summer of 2013.
