Since 1977, the National Wheat Foundation has embarked on a mission to advance industry research, conserve natural resources, expand education, and develop new growth for U.S. wheat. Working closely with the National Association of Wheat Growers (NAWG), the foundation promotes the wheat industry through partnerships and outreach at the state and national level as well as through corporate alliances. It’s no small endeavor. Wheat is the third largest crop commodity in the U.S., it’s grown throughout a majority of the states, and you can probably find it in almost every American home one way or another. Thus, the importance of the National Wheat Foundation’s website, which serves as a hub for all wheat-related information: industry news, blog posts, projects and scholarships, research, and the National Wheat Action Plan. But when the foundation came to Ironistic, their site was out of date, and thus, limited in its effect.
Ironistic worked with them to cultivate a site that was both engaging in design and functional in development, a site that would attract an audience and then point them in the right direction. We revamped their navigation and modernized the layout, incorporating eye-catching graphics and effective call-to-actions to spur user participation through donations, contests, idea-generation, and other industry-support initiatives. We developed their site on WordPress, a dynamic CMS platform, so that as current news, research, projects and other resources arise, site administrators can easily update and manage their content. In addition we made the site responsive, accessible on any device, expanding their outreach and strengthening their impact.
That’s what Ironistic is all about. Not just form. Not just function. Everything in equal effect. Optimized performance. Optimal experience. Building your brand and cultivating conversions – whatever that means for your company, your mission. Find out what it means not just to have a website, but to have an Ironistic website, today.
