The mission of the National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions (the Federation) is to help low- and moderate-income people and communities achieve financial independence through credit unions. Established in 1974 to promote financial inclusion, the Federation is the premier Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) intermediary that organizes, supports and invests in credit unions serving low- and moderate-income consumers. With 250 member credit unions in 46 states serving a combined membership of more than 2.5 million low-income Americans, the Federation designs and supports innovative financial products, services and programs both at a national level and through regional support efforts.
Ironistic designed and developed a new website for the Federation to provide its members with easier access to information while allowing the Federation to communicate more efficiently with all members. Member accounts are created and managed through website integration with the SalesForce system the Federation is already using. Interactive systems built into the new Federation website include several submittable forms, Member Forum, resource library with trackable downloads, dynamic member directory, event calendar, and a member profile area.
