Hudson River Financial Federal Credit Union is a local credit union established in June of 1938 by a small group of local educators. They serve the employees of the public schools in the Hastings-on-Hudson, Dobbs Ferry, Irvington, Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow, Ossining, Peekskill Croton-on-Hudson, and Ardsley, New York communities. As part of their efforts to improve their online presence in the coming year, Hudson River took on the task of a complete website redesign. The main goals of the new website included providing a better front-end user experience, creating multiple areas on the home page in which Hudson River could use for marketing purposes, and making the site mobile responsive to increase interaction and conversions from their growing mobile user base.
Our banking and credit union WordPress template was the perfect solution for meeting these goals and for getting the website up quickly. The template uses an open layout design that allows for easy navigation to important call-to-action elements while also providing dedicated marketing areas in the homepage slider and in the sidebar of the internal pages. Hudson River staff are easily able to rearrange navigation, make content updates, keep rates up-to-date, and receive and manage submissions from a wide variety of forms – including membership and loan applications – through the backend WordPress Content Management System.
New content for the website was developed by our partners at Membership Marketing Support Services. The updated content, redone navigation, and mobile optimization make it much easier for users to find the information they are looking for no matter what device they are using. In the first couple weeks of the site being live, Hudson River received many new loan applications and membership application submissions. They continue to see conversions from the site forms as well as improved interaction with their marketing messages.
