Meet a local fan favorite – Fontaine Bistro. For over ten years, Fontaine has brought warm, intentional service to the heart of Alexandria. Their source of pride is the many customers who enjoy their fresh, French-inspired cuisine time and time again.
Truly a local business, Fontaine sources many ingredients from local suppliers and businesses – and their commitment to high-quality, highly-enjoyable food means customers are treated to many organic and sustainable ingredients.
When Ironistic took on this project, Fontaine Bistro’s current site was outdated and in need of a modern facelift. They needed a site that illustrated the quality of their repeat-worthy food, service and atmosphere and an easy-to-manage platform to promote events, new specials and more.
Ironistic focused on two major goals for Fontaine Bistro:
- Visually elevate the restaurant through the website’s design.
- Make the site a dynamic tool for communicating with customers.
We partnered with the fine folks at Hudson Studio to implement the newly-designed logo and branding throughout Fontaine’s digital platform. Their vision included reaching a wider audience – specifically the many tourists that frequent Alexandria. That meant focusing on usability and mobile-friendliness as much as visual engagement.
We included striking photos throughout the site including a dynamic, moving hero image with sample photos of Fontaine’s cuisine. An easy scroll-down menu with call-to-actions and infographics guide users to make reservations and learn more about Fontaine Bistro, their menus, specials and more. It also invites local partners for sourcing the best and freshest ingredients.
We built all this on a flexible WordPress CMS platform that makes it easy for staff to updated and edit all types of content: photos, menu options, events and more.
