American Heritage is a not-for-profit federal credit union based in the beautiful state of Pennsylvania. Key to their organization’s ethos is a commitment to the financial welfare of their members. They want their members to be educated, smart, and savvy when it comes to managing their money, savings accounts, credit cards, and loans. They know that today’s economy demands it. It is an increasingly diverse world with a myriad of choices affecting one’s financial outcomes, and American Heritage genuinely values the success of each and every one of their credit union members. That is why, when American Heritage wanted to add an education-oriented blog to their existing website, they came to Ironistic.
Ironistic assisted with the design and developed a WordPress-based blog, Moneywise, for the credit union’s younger members. With articles centered around financial literacy and intelligence, it is a valuable resource. American Heritage wanted the focus of Moneywise to be on the next generation of earners and savers, and topics range from the costs of owning a dog, to buying a used car, to the best college majors for future financial health. The WordPress CMS implementation provides American Heritage the flexibility and control they wanted to manage their content, and they can easily edit and as needed. With reliable functionality, an engaging design, and, of course, on-the-mark advice, American Heritage’s Moneywise is a useful and beneficial asset for its members.
