Our Favorite Super Bowl LIV Commercials

Super Bowl LIV presented a major comeback effort for the Kansas City Chiefs who secured their win over the San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 31 to 20. However, as a web development and marketing company, we’d be lying if we said our eyes weren’t glued to another set of competitors: the brands that presented their best ad campaigns during commercial breaks. Check out our team’s favorite commercials from Super Bowl LIV.

My favorite Super Bowl ad was the Groundhog Day commercial from Jeep. First of all, I’m already a Jeep girl. Second – I am a HUGE Groundhog Day and Bill Murray fan. Ever since I was a little girl, I watched the movie with my dad every year on February 2nd and I have carried on that tradition ever since. Bill Murray (Phil) sees the Rubicon and says, “That’s different” – genius.

There were a few good ones, but the Groundhog Day Jeep commercial was so fitting and it’s a great movie!

My favorite Super Bowl commercial was the Walmart “Famous Visitors” ad. I loved the nostalgia factor it had on me! I’ve seen all of those movies and love all of those characters. I was eager to see which famous visitor would show up next! I also love how it’s relatable showing that they shop at Walmart too. Loved it!!

I really liked the Alexa ad with Ellen DeGeneres. I loved how relevant it was to present times and how they roped history into it. Very entertaining and kept my attention the whole time!

To me, the Rocket Mortgage ad stood out for the absolute shock value of seeing Jason Momoa quite literally relax and be “himself” after a long day since he is so well known for his muscles and long hair.
